Net neutrality, copyright, election issues: Charlie Angus

Musician and current Timmins--James Bay MP Charlie Angus has an exclusive p2pnet editorial suggesting some things our community should be active on during the election.

This election will be crucial for the future of digital innovation in Canada. So folks, its time to move beyond click and point and get out there and do some campaigning to get rid of these guys.

While he was talking about the Conservatives and their "made worse in Canada" agenda against modern technology, I will still suggest that this policy comes down to individual people entering the house. We really need to learn about the experience and thoughts of each candidate, regardless of what party they are running with. The only party that has put a forward-thinking MP in charge of this area is the NDP who put Mr. Angus as their critic on digital issues (The only party that has such a critic).
