I have a first draft ready of an article I am writing about
Sheila Copps and copyright reform. I hope this is in time to help people in Hamilton decide whether they wish to nominate and then possibly vote for her as their Member of Parliament.
Where she often claims that she tries to speak for workers and is not beholden to large corporate interests, her actions on copyright reform suggest otherwise. Her response has primarily supported incumbent intermediary business interests, and largely ignored the longer-term interests of creators and other citizens.
Please read and
send me feedback.
