Is Everyone Laughing at the Recording Industry?

This Corante article by lawyer Dennis M. Kennedy includes:

I was at that forum, and have been finding it interesting that the burn-rate of the credibility of the recording industry is high. The problem is that there still seems to be a bubble around parliament that is keeping the real world out. We can not just laugh at this insanity, we must write letters to our members of parliament to let some amount of the real world into that bubble.
