Our 3 petitions (English and French for two) are now posted at: http://petitionsnetwork.ca/petitions-network/current-petitions/ I've also added a link to that site at http://c11.ca/petition which is now a generic landing page rather than the page for the Petition for User' Rights. Getting signatures for the Petition to protect IT property rights is a great way to get a foot in the door with your MP, so please consider doing this. Calling a meeting to discuss the petition as you hand them signatures could get them to realise there are larger concerns with TPMs than they have been led to believe so far. -- Russell McOrmond, Internet Consultant: <http://www.flora.ca/> Please help us tell the Canadian Parliament to protect our property rights as owners of Information Technology. Sign the petition! http://l.c11.ca/ict "The government, lobbied by legacy copyright holders and hardware manufacturers, can pry my camcorder, computer, home theatre, or portable media player from my cold dead hands!" http://c11.ca/own _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list Discuss@list.digital-copyright.ca http://list.digital-copyright.ca/mailman/listinfo/discuss Read: [next] [previous] message List: [newer] [older] articles You need to subscribe to post to this forum. |
