There are a whole range of issues where copyright and other laws have been 
used to silence opponents or for commercial advantage....

Claiming copyright and/or trademark rights to prevent critics from referencing 
the company name - like Walmart who's trying to shutdown a UFCW website in 
Quebec, like copier/printer companies who try in every way to prevent 
competitors from selling toner cartridges, etc.

While only part of this activity is directly related to copyright, we need to 
make the point that this kind of misuse of copyright ought not be tolerated.

This goes as well for false claims of copyright where none exist - and this is 
one area I could see having large statutory damages.
