I think you mean "Friends of Canadian Broadcasting" http://friends.ca/

Politics does make for strange bedfellows.  These are the same folks 
agressively lobbying government to protect legacy broadcasting from 
new-media competition.  See their views on subscription digital radio 
and the fact that they want all new media to be regulated the same way 
as legacy broadcast media.

   Subscription digital radio has far more in common with the Internet 
and Retail distribution of music than it does with broadcast, and if 
they convince parliament to regulat subscription radio like broadcast 
they will likely continue and attack the Internet just like CRIA and 
their other allies are.
