[d@DCC] A stab at writing to an MP

I've been having a difficult time getting the petition signed. The main
reason for this appears to be apathy on the part of people I've asked. I
think another reason is that it is a complicated issue and most peoples'
eyes glaze over when they read or hear an explanation of the situation.

In an effort to not give up, I thought I'd take a crack at writing to a
few MPs. I have written a draft of a letter and would appreciate any
feedback any of you could give. I am not versed enough in law, and as a
result the letter is more a perspective from a layman. I find the topic
can be overwhelming so I tried to narrow down my letter to a few points
about the recommendations from the Standing Committee.

The letter can be viewed at:

Again, any thoughts are welcome,
