The first number is the volume of... the abbreviated case report series (Canadian Patent Reports)... 2d tells you it's the second series (they usually institute a new series of reports for a given title when the volumes get up to a certain high number.).. SCC tells you it's the Supreme Court of Canada judgment (1982) FCA tells you it's the Federal Court of Appeal (1981) FC would tell you it's the trial judgment in the Federal Court. F.C. trial and appeal decisions back to 1992 are at: http://decisions.fct-cf.gc.ca/fct/ Some SCC (the media prefers the abomination SCOC) cases back to 1983 are at: http://www.lexum.umontreal.ca/csc-scc/en/ Not much help for Schlumberger, but it might be useful for you in the future. -- For (un)subscription information, posting guidelines and links to other related sites please see http://www.digital-copyright.ca Read: [next] [previous] message List: [newer] [older] articles You need to subscribe to post to this forum. |
