I completely agree and have done those things.  However, a well-funded
organization (like the EFF or EFC) can afford to lobby change in ways
that would otherwise be finincially impossible for an individual, such
as sending a delegation to a forum in Ottawa or providing legal counsel
to digital rights legal proceedings, etc..  Therefore, I would like to
ensure that any donations I may make are directed appropriately.

So basically, I'd like to know where people are donating (money) and
why?
