  It's simple.  I know someone who bought a new computer because the
old one had so many viruses, that it couldn't be recovered.

  Yes, they were running Outlook.


  My response is: In 10 years of using desktop computers, I've never
had a virus, I've never lost data due to application crashes.  I've
never had to reboot my machine to fix something which was "stuck".

  Bureaucrats understand issues which affect their productivity, at
least.
